Ollie & Roger - thanks for the endorsement! Very glad you are happy with them.

These are not glamour parts for the Ramblers - but if you're rebuilding that area of your car - you really want to have one on the shelf to put on with the re-assembly as the original grommets are usually shot.

It took me decades to locate an NOS one, and after finding it through Brent Havecost, I was having a hard time dealing with putting it on the car and not doing something to help the rest of the hobby out there that I knew was going to struggle locating this little gem of a part.

We did our best on limiting the impact of a compromise tool to keep costs low. These type items can tend to get expensive to do not because of the per part cost of manufacture - but due to the tooling investment. I think a reasonable balance on this one was achieved for what it does and what you see of it.

I will try to have these on stock as long as the tool holds out, but as with all reproduction parts - the best rule of thumb is to buy them when they come out as they can go obsolete like the NOS parts do without notice.

Attention:

I have (10) of these left from the first production run.  They have moved much slower than they should have considering the usage across all 64 - 69 Americans, and depending on how the last of these go, I may or may not decide to end the project.

I would like to at least consider a 1/2 order beyond these to retain some for future needs, but we'll see.

If you have an American, you should have one waiting for a front cable changeout down the road.
