Will a centerline 15 by 10, 5.75 offset wheel fit my 68 amx or will it move to close to springs etc. I know a 4.5 will fit the rear. might have to use wheel spacers not sure.

on my 69 AMX I am running for racing a 15x8 inch wheel with 4.5 inch back space and a 26 inch tall tire...I have about 1/8 inch+ tire to spring clearance on the passenger side and I need a thin spacer(washers) on the driver side to get that same 1/8 inch+....

to make these work I would need a 1.25 spacer or wheel adapter how about clearance on the quarterpanel wheel well or would I be better off with 8 inch rims? would like to run a 255/60/15 tire.

i have 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing weld prostars on the rear with a 275/60/15
the tire barely fits in the wheel well but it fits only thing is going over speed bumps to fast or turning fast causes them to rub!
but i drive it on the street with 4.10s and a 4 speed so the tire height keeps the rpms a little lower

sounds like a great combination. I am trying not to go to wide on the rear tire and rim don't really want the tire to hang out of the wheel wells even thou the car is an old nostalgia race car look. would like to keep them inside I will be driving mostly on the street.

I have 15 x 10's with a 4.5 back space, 15 x 11.5 x 27 tires and I think I could get away with another inch of back space if I remember right. I have caltrax mono leafs but I don't think they are much different over sock in width.
