A few more build pics..powerglide to amc adapter, etc...
The last things to do are a taillight panel and simulate an amx grille with paint...and scale it.. |

Thank You! here are some pics of the engine from a previous car I ran the Springfield mile in. I transplanted it to this car...I have a spare engine almost identical to this I will assemble with a slightly revised oil pan.
With an 8896 Holley this engine went a 6.23 110 (1/8 mile)in my Spirit @2950# coincidently to run with the vintage circle track guys I have to weigh atleast 2950..now it has a 4779 holley.. I run chevy pulleys, the stock upper is redrilled for amc, I run a flat lower with a homemade spacer for alignment. Chevy C.T. p/s pump and bracket modified for amc, Stickshifter made the swinging pick-up, Home ported heads (308 cfm peak)2.08-1.71 valves, comp 300b flat tappet cam, crower lifters,H.S. 1.7 shaft rockers offset intake,BRC flat top pistons(11-1) 6" eagle rods, RO-DY crank, homemade pan, homemade headers 1-3/4-1-7/8 with edelbrock merge collectors,Torker modified for a 4500 with 4150 bolt pattern currently with a 750..
