Here is the problem. My son and I decided to take out his oil burning 232 out of his 69 Gladiator. While the engine was out, we replaced the t14 with a one with a lot less wear and tear. The transmission had 232 written right on the bell housing. One we bolted up everything, the engine was bound up. We backed off the bell housing bolts and the engine would turn easier. We are at loss here. Can the input shaft be slightly longer on the new transmission.? Did the machine shop install the wrong diameter pilot bushing? Spent a lot on this project and we are very concerned.
