for a 66 Rambler
is there anything out there i can get or just the 
universal hurst or mr gasket shifters?

Summit Racing still lists the Hurst Indy shifter as a Hurst shifter.  Not sure if it is sold as a Mr. Gasket shifter now.  That may be what you are referring to as a universal shifter.  There used to be a Hurst Mastercraft? shifter that was a little better quality I think, but it is not offered any more.  You might find one on Ebay occasionally.  Joe

Yeah I see both hurst Indy ( I believe ) and a mr gasket. Did amc make a floor shifter that would work with the. 3 speed if so anyone have one :)

AMC contracted for their own floor shifter for the T-14 and T-150 Borg Warner trannies. It bolts to the transmission and the shifter handle assembly bolts to the floor. I can send a picture later today. If you are contemplating an sr-4 or t5 swap, the shifter is part of the tranny and you only need an appropriate shift handle.

Here is the tranny (T-14 3-speed ) with the AMC shifter mechanism.  Below is the shifter.

i'm curious if this shifter was made by hurst.
