After I replied I thought about it some motr and realized it might only be for later V-8s so indeed any early V-8 flywheel will do as long as you match balance it to the old flexplate or flywheel. If I am understanding correctly, a 343 flywheel will physically bolt right up to my 290. I can buy a new 343 neutral balanced flywheel and have it balanced with my rotating assembly. Am I correct in all of this? Thanks.
