Does this show have restored AMCs on display to be looked at and judged or is it a day of modified cars racing down the strip? Personally I'd like a chance to see these cars polished up and on display, get to talk with owners. I don't want to drive for four hours to get there if I can't get to see restored AMC up close.

It sure does! Not every one is a drag racer (anymore) so we bring our cars to show. And mingle and look at what the vendors bring to sell.

Is this the big AMC shot that's in Ohio every year? Or are these two different shows? Where's this one held? Thanks!

I do not know about the racing end of it but you can display your car on the show field. There was a Chevy powered Javelin there last year. Even took a trophy. But many didn't notice the engine.

Our event has always been run with the eliminations portion open to AMC-powered vehicles only. There's an open T&T also. As far as a Chevy-powered Javelin taking a trophy last year, I am totally unaware. This is the first I have heard of it and if true, that's unfortunate but, it's also water under the bridge.
I hope that answers your question and we hope to see you there!
Thanks!

So if you are so inclined to be a real Rebel and install AMC Power in your GM.....your are welcome to run the eliminations!!!! just ask the x-Traco builders, AMC's made more power than General Motors on the dyno in Trans Am Engines!!!

I will be there Don!! Thanks for your constant support of this event.
