Is there an adapter available that will allow me to use a 2 bbl Holley on a stock 2bbl intake? Or, is there an early Carter 2 bbl that I can use to sub out my later emissions Carter carb. My dilemma is that I have a '72 232 engine that I'm wanting to convert to a 258. but my donor 258 that I'm using for the necessary parts came from a '79 and the carb has several emission hoses connected to it that were not used in '72. Bowl vents, etc What would you suggest that I do?.

Yes there is an adapter. I like to use motorcraft 2100 or 2150 carbs. Holleys work great too.

You can plug off the bowl vent(s) and the EGR vacuum nipple with no bad effects other than the rubber caps periodically rotting and needing replacement. Vinyl or silicone caps work better over the long haul.

Many small Chrysler V8's used the BBD for decades. 1950's through 1980's. I drove a 1957 Chrysler Windsor with a 354 Polysphere that had a BBD on it.
