Doug, just curious. About what time of day did you make the videos? I was there most of the day taking 100's of shots, but surprised to see in your two videos some large gaps between cars, also the sunlight in the video looks hazy, while all day it was bright, pleasant and a nice breeze. Couldn't ask for better. Did you take it early or toward the end on the day? Excellent show, will be visiting again next year.
Thanks, Scott |

I didn't start Video until after my car was Judged and I had Lunch, so I started Video around 1:30 PM.
Had a couple Camera and YouTube problems. In Part one the Batteries & or the the SC Card in the camera stopped the recording. I replaced both Batteries and Sc Card and started Video (part 2) from the opposite direction thinking I could patch the two parts together. Part two was finished around 3PM (around the time the Group Pictures were being taken). I actually was able to record the entire Field in part 2 but YouTube would not take it in it's entirety as it exceeded their max capacity. So I had to cut part of part 2 out not knowing what might have been lost, or duplicated. While Videoing I noticed cars were starting to leave. Oh, you'll love this my Camera is a "Kodak HD easyshare Z5010" which I have had good results with, check out some of my other Videos, All AMC Day Cecil Dragway, All AMC Day Maison Dixon Dragway, and my longest is AACA Grand National 2016 Williamsport 1400 cars. Same Camera. Sometimes things happen.

I watched the videos, but have to ask this question. Where were all the Pacers?

Doug, thank you for filming all that. It shows how large the field of cars were. I went to Cecil Dragway on AMC Day last year, but surprised by the small turn-out, about 15 cars. Always great to see any AMC cars, yet far from being big.
At Gettysburg yesterday I did see at least two Pacers, one was up near the hotel. I don't know if AMO holds the Gettysburg event every year at the Eisenhower Hotel, but IMHO another location would be better. That grass, weeds and part blacktop field the cars were on was crappy. I would have loved to have reserved a room there, reserved my Days Inn room back in January, but all the online reviews said most Eisenhower rooms were dirty. Lastly, the Eisenhower is in the middle of no where on a country road. How about next time having it in Hershey? The site's already perfect for cars shows, has area hotels/motels, and the AACA Museum is right there? Thank you to all who brought their cars to Gettysburg. Yesterday I was speaking with someone who had come from Toronto, Canada. Cheers, Scott J
