    Posted: Jan/26/2015 at 11:08am
The 10th Annual Las Vegas AMC Reunion will be held on November 6-7, 2015.  Once again the show will be held at Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino in Henderson, NV.

If you're a forum member coming in for SEMA, plan on sticking around for a couple more days and come to the show.

The 2014 show was the best one yet!   We had cars from Nevada, Arizona, California, Idaho, and the Canadian province of British Columbia and quite a few AMC enthusiasts who flew in from Oklahoma, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Illinois and Ohio.  The final number of registered cars was 65, a new record!

The Friday schedule will feature a tour or cruise followed by our awesome BBQ for all show participants and guests.   The show and swap meet are on Saturday and the weekend concludes with breakfast on Sunday morning.  Once the schedule of events is finalized, I will post it on the forum.

For more information, please contact me by PM on the forum, email (chicago05616@yahoo.com) or phone (702-985-7647)

I expect it may be the first show for my BBO AMX as well! I was hoping for Cleveland, but the reality of finishing all the little details that remain is starting to sink in.

The schedule of events for the 2015 Las Vegas AMC Reunion is coming together.  On Friday, November 6th we will be cruising to the Techatticup Mine at Eldorado Canyon.   It's the oldest, richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada.  If you’re into history and “old stuff”, you’ll love it.  It’s about a 25 mile drive from Railroad Pass to the mine.  We will be departing from the hotel at 9:30am.  The cost will be $10 per person (payable at the mine, please do not pay in advance).  After everyone is finished at the mine, we have a really cool idea.  Another six miles from the mine, you come to the end of the road.  The scenery is spectacular with beautiful blue sky, mountains and the Colorado River as the background.  It’s the perfect place to take photos of your car.  We are seriously considering hiring a professional photographer to take the photos.  We’re still working on this so we don’t yet what the cost would be.

The second event on the Friday calendar is our now famous and totally FREE barbeque at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Boulder City.  Once again, Andy Ray will serve as your host and grill master.  It’s one of the highlights of the weekend and something everyone really enjoys.  We guarantee you’ll leave with a full stomach.  If all goes according to plan, we should start “serving up the grub” around 3:00pm.

Finally, we will hold early registration in the banquet room at Railroad Pass from 7:30pm to 10:30pm.  We may have a presentation by a special guest during registration but we’re still working on that.

The itinerary on Saturday, November 7th is the show field opens for set-up at 6am, registration on the show field is from 7am-10am, the car show and swap meet is open from 9am-3pm, the drawing of raffle prizes takes place at 2:30pm, the awards presentation and presentations from other AMC clubs hosting a show in 2016 is scheduled from 4pm-5:30pm and dinner in the Boxcar Buffet ($10.95 per person) will be immediately following the conclusion of the awards presentation.

Don’t forget the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning in The Steakhouse.

Registration is $40 per car.  In exchange, you’ll receive our awesome event t-shirt, dash plaque and goodie box.

This is our 10th annual show.  We want to celebrate by making this our biggest and best show yet!  If you’ve been thinking about coming but haven’t made it yet, we hope you’ll decide to come this year.  Do you really want to miss one of the largest regional AMC shows in the country?

I want to reiterate that anyone, who is definitely planning on coming, should book their hotel rooms now.  If you're thinking about coming but haven't decided, I suggest you book a room now too.  You can always cancel if you decide not to come.  I've been told rooms are going fast.  Don't delay, book today!

The rate for Sunday-Thursday will be $45 plus tax and Friday & Saturday will be $65 plus tax.  For room reservations, call Railroad Pass at 1-800-654-0877 or 702-294-5000.  Make sure to mention code AMC1115 for the special room rate.
