F is not AMC. I believe it's a Chrysler spare, yes there's were orange too.

The other is for a late model Concord.

The black one is a F as well I mistyped previously.  Is there an identification website out there for these?

Joe,
Couldn't that F78 be a Machine spare?

It could be but i've always been told that the machine used an E. If anyone has an original jacking instruction for a machine, the correct size should be listed on it.

To continue the the questions, I have parted out "way to many" AMC, much like "Joe - aka 71SC360".....I have never seen an F78-14.....my 70 AMX, totally original 18K mile car that came with Machine Wheels has a E78-14 Space Saver.....now for PURE SPECULATION!!.......on full size AMC 74 up MATADOR 4 door and sedans, they offered a H78-14 Tire option, from the best I can tell and at least in 1974 they did offer a Space Saver Option....maybe that is where a F78 came from.   I have personally owned no less then 20 Matador Coupes and never seen Space Saver Option, only in the factory Brochure.....and on Coupe the biggest tire option was a F70 or F78-14........I am puzzled!

My space saver spare is a F-70 14 B F Goodrich . I bought it a long time ago from a guy who parted out a lot of AMC,s. It may not be correct for my "Donohue" but I like the look,it kinda finishes off the trunk area of the car.
