I picked up a 1976 Pacer D/L with AC.  I'm thinking my Vacuum Canister could be bad.  Is this possible?  I have the same vacuum at the larger canister hose that comes from the intake manifold as I have at the intake itself so I know the larger hose is fine.  When I hook the gauge up to the smaller hose coming out of the canister I do not get any Vacuum reading, leading me to think the canister itself is not holding vacuum.  Just wondering if these go bad somehow.  And if they do what is it that failed.  Are these cans still made someplace or is there any aftermarket replacements?  Thanks for any advice.
