Curt at Rocky Mountain Vintage Vehicles is doing a really nice job!
All the sheet metal was provided by the big bad green donor car so its
spirit will live on in our Sportabout!

This series is repairing the driver side rocker panel rust.

Looks like the wagon spent a little too much time at the beach.

Wow, that's a lot of love for a sweet wagon! I'll be eagerly awaiting more progress!

i love wagons more than any other body style.

there was a '72 that was the same color on KS CL a while back w/ a 232 and a T-14 floor-shift (i love manual wagons more than anything).

i looked recently, and it's gone.  probably a good thing i didn't entertain the idea of getting it, lol.

good luck on your project.

Curt at Rocky Mountain Vintage Vehicles is doing the retro fit custom work to back date the tail to 1971 to match my moms car.
Big bad green provided all of the sheet metal and bumper hardware for this conversion. Kevin at Salt lake Chrome is refreshing the bumper and tail panel those should be done soon.

The car as I purchased it

Collecting all of the pieces to match photos of my moms car.

Cleaning up and getting the 1970 tail lights installed.

Cutting and grafting sheet metal on the back.

Will post a completed picture when we get it done!
