The inserts are the same, so you can swap.

There is a post on a service to restore them rubber inserts. Though if not too bad, I think you could use a fast rubbery glue to tack some thin plastic sheet as backing. Like what some do to tack headliners on the fiberglass she'll, just using a similar method.
