After the 4bbl swap I went 16.20s. Then I had the car back out the track and went 16.20s again.

I have no reason to lie about slow junk.
I wasn't accusing you of stretching the truth. I just remember a post where someone claimed a much bigger drop than what it actually was. Same tires, temps? Do you remember the mph? That is quite an improvement.

IIRC mph was 78 with the 2bbl and 84 with the 4bbl. Don't hold me to it till I find the slips.

Wheels and tires did change. But 2bbl and 4bbl runs were made on 215/65/15s on chrome 15x6 Mopar road wheels. Then I went to 15X9 Centerline Champ 500s with 255/60/15 on the rear and 15x7.5 with 215/65/15 front.

Rear tires got taller/wider, wheels wider, but lighter. Still ran 16.20 solid as a rock. T-shirt weather is all I remember. Never brought her out in nasty humid weather or cold. Nice average days.

Edited for tire size.

I found most of my 4bbl slips. Actually before I adjusted the secondaries on the Holley, I was running 16.8 at 80 mph. My best MPH was 83.80 after working on them.

My factory v8 Gremlin 304/998 w/2.87 gear dropped 1 sec with just a shift kit from what I remember.

Only other work done was a Lock Right Locker, Holley 5200 500 cfm v2 on stock intake (stock air filter assy.) and duel exh with stock manifolds would dial in's would be 16.20 - 16.5 depending on track & OAT at the time of runs.
