update on this. i obtained a manual box from a 70 javelin, with pitman arm and rag joint. Ill be attempting to swap out my ps on my 72 jav. hope it works. ill keep you posted for future searches.

I installed the manual box from the 70 Javelin onto my 72. I didnt need any adapter brackets from the ps unit. I did need a spacer for one of the bolts. I did use the manual ragjoint.  The manual box was not threaded so i had to use nuts but all in all pretty easy swap.

Wish I would have seen this earlier, I have a GOOD manual box from a 69 Javelin, pitman and all sitting in my shop. I doubt I'll ever use it. My brother converted his 69 to power and I got the parts he removed.
But I see you have already found everything you needed......

I can still hear the complaints in my head when someone had to move my manual steering, manual transmission Javelin for me one night LOL

^something I would hear a lot more of later when all my daily drivers were hacked up/lifted Jeeps Clap

I would love to have a manual steering daily driver again, but I'm not as strong as I was 30 years ago Ouch
