Not sure where this build went but here is my take on a Matador Machine clone. Big power, Big noise, Big attitude like its owner.....6 mpg but too much fun too drive on the street

Nice!... What rear gears?  If enough is good, more is better, and too much is just right ! Thumbs Up

only 3.54 now but they work well with the 10" converter and 28" tires. I have a set of 4.11 and locker to install when I blow the Auburn posi up.

Sad story for me - I ended up having to sell the car about 8 years back - Got in a pinch, needed the money - Car only had 30 miles on it after a fresh resto, before it Sold to a guy named Bob through an EBAY auction ... Only got 12,500 out of the 30,000 ++ i spent, and Last time I heard, it was on a trailer to Illinois ? Indiana ? Cant remember which state - Guy was apparently an AMC collector .... Left me with with a fresh 401 race ready block in it - Let me know if it ever shows up anywhere ! Havent seen it in forever - Miss that car every day

Last month I owned the car, just after it got out of the body shop, It was so rainy - Still had body shop dust under the hood I never got to clean off - Dont think I had one dry day the whole month to take one nice shot of the Pearlescent Burnt Orange in the sunlight, or finish the detail work like pin striping, undercoating the inner fender wells, and fine detailing the interior
