Nice looking project! Javelins are luckily fairly easy to find parts for, but keep in mind that 71 is an odd year for the Javelin, meaning a lot of stuff is one year only. Also, if you're getting rid of the wheels in order to buy new ones, keep some of us on the forum in mind. Those turbocast II wheels on there are pretty desirable among most of the later models, but I do enjoy them on the hump fender Javelins as well. Good luck with the project!

I will post them in the forum when I get the car on some kind of a roller.
They are in pretty good shape.

I'm not going to have fun trying to find the rear back up light at a decent price. There is one on ebay with a cracked corner for $395.

I'm also still hoping that the last owner can find the drivers side rocker panel chrome molding...
and the missing chrome.

I ordered new push rods, lifters, and a gasket set from RockAuto.com today.
The car came with a rebuilt short block bored .030 over and rebuilt heads.

I plan on assembling the engine first and then packing it away.

The rocker panel molding is stainless, any 71 to 74 will work, just 73 and 74 has painted top strip along the width, wick can be removed.

I have plenty of stainless in great shape, let me know which window trim, trunk trim, and door trim sections you need.

I no longer have drip rail trim, front fender J trim, and upper and lower quarter corner trim sections.

Don't have passenger and driver windshield pillar trim.

Has anyone tried to install the 69 Hood Scoops on a 71-74 Javelin?

Any thoughts on a Speedway wiring harness?

It looks to be the same as a Painless wiring harness...
