I had considered getting quarter panels from an AMX and wheel well but my dad volunteered to make me some. I might have been able to pull it off myself but he's much quicker and much better ;)

I think the Javelin likes the work I am doing LOL While grinding down a weld on the rear wheel well I notice he was smiling back at me

That being said I think there are gremlins in the garage. Every time I Bent my head to weld or grind I look up 3 hours have passed... I think the clock is broken, its gotta be going to fast right?

So the clocked sped again but I manage to finish grinding both windshield . Now need to patch a few things then windshields go back in

After some more grinding around the window sill

and more grinding around the other windshield.

his cute little behind * brace yourselves he's still naked*

the outer (inside) skin of the quarter panel)

the advantage of being a girl is that I can fit in the rear wheel well and weld from the inside (if at least I would have thought it from the beginning!) probably best no one was there to take a picture of it, not very flattering pose lol!

although plenty of work left before laying down the paint in 3 weeks ( I don't need to eat or sleep right? lol) my favourite picture to date.makes all the hours dad put in to make me the panels and all the hours of welding and grinding I did soooooooo wroth it!!!!
