1970 javelin SST

I have been posting in the forum ever since I have found this great forum. so I figured it was time that I started a thread that does not contain a question in my first post. I hope its not against rules to add a link to videos and other pictures. I cant seem to get the link to work so might have to copy and paste. I assure you they are worth the copy and paste :)

in 2009 my now husband and I went to get my valentine's day gift a 1970 AMC javelin SST. I had found it on an online classified add and fell in love all over again.

It had a ceased 304 in it, the sun had cracked the top of the seats, but the car had been kept inside for the last 15 years (in Atlantic Canada that is veryyyyyy important lol) it came with an extra 360 but again that needed to be rebuilt. after soem trial and errors I fond a running 360 from a 81 wagoneer, cleaned it up some and after weeks of fiddling dad and I got it working. The man under the hood is my dad, and behind the camera (at the end laughing at me) is my mom and the screech at the end of the first video is me yelling and laughing at the same time lol

I have been posting the pictures of the build on the link below but I will update this thread as I go now as well ;)

I plan on having him on the road for June soooo far to go still

the first time he runs in over 15 years!
