The car is looking great Holger! Must feel good to be nearing completion.
I've had a few senior moments in the last week alone. There's nothing like working on an old car to make you realize that the car isn't the only thing that's showing its years, lol.
BTW, I bought my seat belt bolts from a Mustang parts place. CJ Pony Parts I think it's called (they have a Web site store). Edited by CamJam - Jul/27/2015 at 8:12pm |

3,5 weeks to go to the Ferry to Finland CamJam, but thanks for the support.
And still got no Plates...this will be the biggest challenge ... But the shelfs and racks clear...and i spend Time on searching Parts ... i know i´ll have then, but where? Figured out i can turn the Starter upside down, but when, the magnetswitch hangs as kinda as deep as the HedmenHeaders i get rid off. |

Last Days Efforts
We have a Passengers Seat, all Interuor ins mounted exept the Trunkcover, (waiting for Speakers to araive) And i have to adjust the glovebox... I wonder about the insulation of the Hood, the furry side goes down? because of the cut out of the vaccum device of the RamAir Hood... |

So I did some work after my Finland Holiday...
I had toTake the Car to an Aligmentshop 10 Miles away, i choosed to Trailer it... none of my Buddys had a Cartrailer free at the Date... so i had to improvise and work with the Gear i own. A bit overkill... The Aligment was done by an old Automechanic, we had to discuss a bit Measurments to teach the AligmentComputer the values I had. Funny thing, their Database in the Computer included AMC Cars from 78 up.... After the Aligment and a Break test(me right rear isnt working great.. i will check tommorow) The Pedal feeling is kinda hard ... Anyway... I drove it home on TestPlates and took some Detours *Innocentpiping* That Hood is as awesome from the Outside, as from the Inside of the Car... And when coming to that straight... I floored it the first Time in 2,5 Years.... nice Kickdown and a upshift at 4900.. Holy dung, on all the Drives i made with the Car i just rev it to 3500, by ear... with the tachometer now i stayed at WOT..untill i could see where the cars would shift itself.. I lifted my Foot at 100 MPH.... not comfortable with the Setup for the Moment. To weak in the Suspension, and i think i need to adjust the Shocks harder. The ControlFreaks Setup dropped a Bit moreon the first 40 Miles as expected.. solid 2" drop... Car sits to deep now and scratches the fenders when having bad roads. Same Problem in the Rear.. Will check that out tomorow too. Nest on the To Do list, check the speedometer geardrive and count the Teeth, my Speedometer shows too less Km/H.. And order something matching. The Car yesterday evening...
Got the 70 Javelin some C-Stripes... Javelins digg C-Stripes (Good thing a CarWrapper is just 1/2 Mile down the Road.. ) Even White Stripes would have looked good.. but it is the Transferpaper. But i ended with Traditional Black Edited by SirDigger - Sep/12/2015 at 2:02pm |

Looks great with the stripes Holger! I actually prefer the black stripes on your car, they don't overpower the color of the car instead they work with it. Stance on the car looks good also!
