Ladies and Gentlemen,

i finally got my first AMC Streetcar.
I proudly present my 1970 AMC Javelin SST 304 Big smile

The Car is from New England, and was put in a dry Storage in 1984, its in a good Condition,
never been started since then but complete and clean, there is no significant rust,
exept the Wheel Arches and the Quarterpanels.

I set up an Photostream at Flickr for the Car, U find all the Pictures i took there

http://www.flickr.com/photos/33536157@N00/sets/72157631733617274/

Things that i planed,  changed a bit due to Timing ReasonsCry and some other Stuff, Wink
so now i ship the Car directly to Germany and will start the Restauration myself.
This will be a long Time Project, i´m Self employed so thete is not much Time.

So i need some Parts and the Knowledge of the Board for sure.

Parts i need fast (to ship them with the car)

-Suspension Bushings  I want to go for PU Bushings so i need some Advice where to get them.
-Weatherstriping Kit, the Seals dont look that bad, but what i Got, i Got
-Quarterpanel replacments (not the Whole Quarterpanels, just the Ends to the Bottom)
-WheelArches( Are these Availeble?)
-Passengers Side rear Quarter Window (not for this Car, but there is something in the Making) Wink

Parts on the Wishlist:

-Ram Air Hood and the AirGuides to the Carb
-Front/Rear Spoiler like on the Mark Donohue Car
-We will see what Stuff i will need.

And finally, I want to say Thx to some real nice Guy in the AMC Forum

Mr. Ed, ClapClap

he gave me the Hint to this Javelin, he did a PreCheck for me, and all I can say is

Thanks Buddy, I owe you a Night at a Bar on my Wallet.

But i think i know a little Way to say Thanks Wink

Even the car is kinda Dead, its a solid start, have a look at the Pictures.
I bet the Shipping is in Good Hands, i decided to make the deal with Sumo.

And i hope we got a long Winter .....

I have a passenger side quarter window but I need to know if you need clear glass or tinted.   There may be other sellers closer to your shipping point though because I'm in California.  Nice car.   Joe

Looks like a great find and very unique in Germany.

The TSM (shop manual) has been reprinted. You should be able to get it from any of the big AMC vendors. I have also used Faxon (faxonautoliterature.com) in the past for brand X shop manuals. They do ship to Canada, but I don't know if they ship to Germany.

http://www.amx-perience.com/pdf/1970SpecificationsBooklet.pdf
Still looking for a pdf Technical Service Manual but I know you should be able to find a used one easily.
Edit: Found were you can purchase a pdf but I think you're better off buying a hard copy for less than half of the cost

You're welcome. I am very pleased to help you find the car. I will help anybody in any way I can. I know you will enjoy your new car as we all do with our orphans. I get an extra sense of pride when I take the Madam out. And when George shows up with his AMX, we really get a crowd. You will find that you will too draw a crowd with your Javelin.

Holger:

As much as I'd like to keep AMC's in the U.S., that looks like a fine Javelin to take back to Germany!  I enjoyed the many photos on Photobucket!

Looks like a fairly early-build '70 judging by a few telltale items like the round glove box knob, and the nuts holding the taillight housings, and the door pulls.

Also looks well equipped! A/C, PDB, even the rare rear speaker! Looks like someone added the heated rear window, but that's nice to have too!

We trust the car gets to you safely! Keep us posted on the progress.
