No zip ties! The guys from Road Kill garage would be offended at this, this, utter blasphemy! BTW, this month's Roadkill episode features an AMC! |

Love this, watching eagerly on every update.
I have a Torker with a single 800 DP on it, and the car works amazingly well. However I have a cross-ram, and I'd like to install it, so can't wait to see how your tuning goes. |

WORKED ON THE CAR TODAY. DID NOT GET TOO FAR SINCE I NEED SOME AN-12 LINE TO REROUTE THE PICKUP TO THE PUMP.
HELPS TO HAVE A REMOVEABLE CROSSMEMBER. THE NEW OIL PICKUP FITTING IS NOW IN A MUCH BETTER SPOT THAN BEFORE, IN FRONT OF THE STARTER. COULD NOT INSTALL THE UPPER HOSE COOLING LINES SINCE I FORGOT TO BRING MY CUTOFF SAW BACK TO CUT THE AN-20 HOSE. |

MODIFIED UPPER COOLING LINES. REALLY THE ONLY WAY TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL TIGHT BEND HOSE. NOW I NEED TO FABRICATE A BRACKET TO SECURE THE FILLER NECK TO SOMETHING STABLE. |

STILL HAVING ISSUES GETTING THIS TO IDLE SMOOTH. I THINK THE POWER VALVES ARE NOT RIGHT FOR THE COMBINATION SO I AM GOING TO SWITCH THEM OUT FOR 4.5'S. RUNS GOOD UPPER RPM BUT THE IDLE IS INCONSISTANT.

Ok after LOOOONG delay I am back on this project. Sorry for the delays to the folks that have been supportive of the project.
I installed the matching 4777SA Holley 650's and now it runs decent. I uncovered a small leak in the Corvette L88 radiator and need to remove it and see if it can be fixed. If not I will need to buy a replacement L88 radiator and find someone to weld on the AN fittings. As the car was running I noticed afterward a puddle of transmission fluid under the car, did not put it up on the lift to investigate but I am sure there was no leak as the car sat for months, now that it has idled for some time there is a gearbox leak? Any ideas where a T-10 would leak at idle? |
