1969 Javelin SST. 343 auto. The 2 previous owners were both female and aside from the purple paint job (originally butternut beige) the car is original. I have the original dealer window sticker, build sheets and owners manual. Original door tag is in place. This is a project car as there are rust issues in the rear quarters (covered by shoddy bodywork), some rust in floor pans but not bad. I can’t really get a feel for the outer rockers (more of that shoddy bodywork) but there is one area of rust damage on the driver’s side inner by the emergency brake area. Trunk is solid but troughs are rough. Gas tank is there but has not been checked for leaks and would need a good cleaning. Motor has not been fired in years but it does turn freely. PO says the motor has never been rebuilt and it is completely original down to the 4 bbl carb. Dash area and console are in very good shape. Can’t find any cracks at all. Buckets will need to be recovered but the back seat is in very good condition. Grill has missing tabs but is in much better condition than most I’ve seen. Car also comes with all the extra parts I have purchased for it including nice rear bumper, several rear valance panels, rocker moldings and various emblems. I also have a nearly complete spare 343 engine as well as 2 other 343 blocks. Car is partially disassembled. Any parts removed were labeled and placed in boxes. I assure you it’s all there. This would be a really nice project for someone. Pics are before I started to disassemble. Will send pics of car in current state if asked.

Asking $1,500.  I know this car and the spare parts can be parted and sold for much more but I would like to see this car saved.

Okay, now that AMO has come and gone I really need to move this car. I'll take $1,200 but I keep the nearly complete 343. The other two 343 blocks, a set of 343 heads, a 343 crank and pistons still go with the car (along with everything else mentioned in my original post). I have taken some additional pics as well. Email me if interested.

I'll give it another couple of weeks and if no one takes it I guess I'll part it out. Probably get more out of it by doing that anyway but I hate to see a well documented, original car end up parted out.

Thanks!
