BTW looks like real nice work you did.
If no one wants to post prices here you can PM them to me.I'm considering putting a scoop on the 65 wagon and I want to get a ball park figure on what's out there.

Thanks for the kind comments. I just caught the request for pricing. Right now if I do my math, I would need to get about $350.00 or better from these to cover time and materials. This is a good deal if you ever had one of the other knockoff scoops, They require many hours of sanding and filling in all the pinholes. No rolled lip and incorrect shape. They sag in the middle when exposed to heat and not painted. What is your time worth? I had to work with those scoops in the past and believe me, It prompted me to make the new scoops. Many AMC people can't do paint or body work, So I hope these new scoops and this approach would help smome one out.

Why not post in the for sale section and see what happens...........
I don't need one, but I do know about poor quality, etc.
It's a niche market - but someone wanting to build a clone or a wagon, etc.............

Great idea. I have only one ready and it is on Ebay at no reserve. I will make a large scoop this week and the smaller one and put both up in the sales section here.

I used one of Steven's scoops on the B Scheme SC/Ramblers that I just finished the restoration on and it is indeed dead on the same as the sister A Scheme that was also just finished and pictured in my signature graphic below.

BTW, I also needed to get a new set of mirrors for the car below as well and used the Fussik mirrors for the 442 which were also dead on perfect.  The Fussik mirrors are $399 complete inluding mounting screws and base gaskets and worth every penny.

[QUOTE=Alliups]Can you take a straight on shot of the inlet? There were apparently two styles. One with almost square edges around the opening and the other rounded. I'm leaning toward rounded with yours but a straight frontal view would clarify that. Nice to see you got the proper 1/4-5/16ths" or so thickness around the opening. Some of the repros, even fairly nice ones ( I have one but it needs this area changed ), have a thin 1/8" thick opening lip that is clearly wrong.
As to editing your post, including the font size and type- there is a toolbox menu at the top of the posting window. There are"font" and "size" blocks at the lower left of the menu toolbox. You can change stuff there. You figured out how to post photos. Size is adjusted through the photo hosting site you keep the photos on. I hope I helped.

Steve
Hello Steve, I do not know where to go for help and getting a problem resolved about editing post or even sending a PM or doing anything but posting. I have no control over edits or anything, it not even possible to backspace to correct a word or spell check. Wrong with my account? Shere but nowhere else will allow me.

Yes but it will not allow me to do or change anything. There must be a problem or I have been edited out. If I try to pm anyone, it's a dead link.
HELP PLEASE I want the 59 cross country wagon, and I contact him

Sometimes when you get too far down the email string there is a little quirk with the system that won't let you go back and edit an older post.  Regardless, you are not edited out as you are still able to post.
