I have a 68 amx that I am swapping the mechanical linkage out to replace with the 69 cable throttle. I have a 69 pedal but just need the cable like the original. I purchased a crown cable part# J8120143 but it's super long. I know I can buy from some of the vendors but wasn't sure if anyone knew a part number for another crown cable or similar brand that would be close to the origjnal length and have the right ends. I am on the fence with just ordering a lokar throttle cable if I have to buy from the vendors. Thanks for any help!!

Take a look at the Mr Gasket kit. Used it on my sons cj which was not working with a stock cable and it solved the problem.

I also used an American Parts Depot cable to convert from mechanical linkage, and it worked great.

If its too long, you may have the cable for a 71. It's about 19" long.

I installed a Lokar DP-1000HT Duo-Pak Hi-Tech Throttle Cable with SRK-4000  in my 68 AMX after figuring out that I had a 72-74 pedal (ball end cable).

It  works great and I didn't need to make a square hole for the stock cable.
The Lokar is $79.81 on Amazon.
