Pulled the rear out tonight, it is a Ford 9 inch to be replaced with the original to the car 20. Previous owner had installed 6 leaf, leaf springs. Any input if I should reinstall these? How will the ride be?

Detailed the fresh rebuilt trans this week. Engine is still in the shop, should be ready mid summer. The leaf springs are also in the shop having a leaf removed. I will finally be able to get the rear installed and the car movable again.

I got the run around with the guy who had my springs, after 2 months and him not touching them I picked them up and took to another shop. He has them done in 1 day. I picked them up Friday and installed the AMC rear back in the car. It had been pulled out in 1969. The engine should be done by end of summer.
