Aquired this car yesterday from a Craigs List ad. Believe it or not it has 9019 original miles. The owner took the car apart to make a drag car out of it with his father. The father died unexpectedly and the car sat in the garage where it was parked since 1969. Its a 390 automatic car, the only thing that is missing is the power steering and power brake set up.

Belive it or not this car has only 9019 miles on it, I bought it yesterday from a Craigs List ad. It was parked in 1969 to turn into a drag car. The owners father died unexpectedly and the car sat ever since. It is a 390 auto car, the only thing missing is the power steering and power brake assemblies.

That's quite a find and really cool....
Looks like you have a fun barn find cleanup project.

The car will sit until spring. I will buy parts for it all winter. It came with an R4B intake with AMC part number, an NOS  70 fender extension and marker lights for some reason. He also gave me 4 AMC oil filters from 1968 in the original boxes. He had put the chrome front bumper on a BBO Javelin, which is long gone, but he did give me the BBO front bumper with trim if anyone wants to trade for a chrome one or buy it outright

Beautiful!  I'd like to see it after some soapy water and a clay bar.

Wow! Looks like it still has the original 5.5" white steel wheels with it. Very cool find! Can't wait to see more of it after you have cleaned off some of the dirt.
