This car started out as my high school project car that i got just before new years 2008 for $600 from a guy who had to leave for mexico the next week so that helped negotiations. But needless to say it was a $600 car the car was taxi cab yellow with a 343 that ran but not to well and was a dirty car . We trailed it home and the fun began ripping Chevy interior out the after dumping buckets of water and scrubbing the dirt out of it and shop vac it out. The next day I jacked the car up and the rear end purity much fell out from the car. But the plus of the car was it had a narrowed ford 9 in and a mini tub and a good 343 builder. So my Dad and good friend of mine and i pulled the motor dropped the gas tank and started to rebuild the car completely my Dad and I cut stuff of with the plasma cutter and cut out a hole in the trunk for the fuel cell. I was very to have a great friend that built up the 343 and after school i would go to his house to work on it with him the 343 has a 360 crank in it . mild cap air gap intake. We ported and polished the old square port cast iron heads , an a 750 cfm holly carb. 727 trans with a manual valve body 3500 stall. at the same time of building the motor a other friend of ares let me learn how to paint the Ramble. So we used the taxi cab yellow for are primer and i sanded it down and the hole that they had put in it was covered up bu a old scoop that came off of my dads mustang . So after all the paint prep work i shot the car with a single stage john deer Red paint and let me tell you I have a lot of respect for car painters they make it look easy!!! After a year and a half the car really started to come together and only thanks to my parents spare parts from there car build and help from some really good friends the car was alive and running! The first car show i took it to it took home a trophy I have had lots of fun with the car. I have only ran the car at Bandimere Speedway in Colorado which is a mile high elevation which will slow a car up a full sec. The fasted time I have got with it was a 13.66 at 98mph with a car that weighs in a 3030 lb with me in it. I have got 2nd place at the races and made it to the quarter finals a few times its been a great drag car . But you always want to go faster so this week the Bottle is going on the car for the next fall series race the 28th So it will be awesome to see where the car runs with the bottle!!!
