It sounds like most master cylinders pre-late-70's were 1" bore.

I think I'll go with the 1" master then, that 'should' be fine.  Also, the one that was on the car is 1" bore, but I don't know if that was the original, it sure looks like it.

Thanks for your help guys!

Still need to find some front and rear lines, any good leads for those?  I see a couple, but not a whole lot out there at decent prices.

Mitch:

Read this thread so you have a better idea of what you are dealing with with your rear brakes:

74 Hornet Hatchback X twins (since 1977)
62 American Convertible (still worth the $50 I spent in 1973!) AMCRC #513, AMO #384
70 AMX 360 4-speed (since 1981)

I think I have the right wheel cylinders yet, these are what I got:

I will definitely check that thread out though, seems like these brakes are pretty complicated haha

What are my main concerns when dealing with the non-servo rear brakes?  I have the brake cylinders, I have shoes, I have a rebuild kit, what else should I be worrying about?

Also, is there any real difference between the rear brake line between servo and non-servo drums?

No difference in the rear brake line. Sounds like you're good to go.

I hope so!  I'm still worried about the rear drums being non-servo, but I should be able to figure that out either way, or fab something up to work for the time being.  Either way, just using the front disc brakes should be able to get me home for the winter.

Does anyone know if there are pre-bent lines for my application?

I'm having a hard time finding some.

It would appear for the front brakes that I can get a normal brake hose and bend my own metal piece around the caliper if needed.

Any thoughts on this?

I'm brakes away from being on the road.

Should be fine. Be careful bending, don't want any tight kinks! I think I'd use a 6" line. Just make sure you anchor the end of the line where the rubber attaches good. A big zip tie will work, just zip it to the steering knuckle.

Sounds good!  I'm going to order this kit then, looks like I'll have to bend myself, but that's not a big deal.

I'm soooo close to having this done, or at least on the road.  Extremely excited.

Biker, I've got lots of blood and sweat into this project, but even more tears being for my grandpa.. I love this project.

I really appreciate everyone's help here!
