It was a 327 from a 61. Put into a 62. We're hoping the pan from my parts 63 327 will work. Strange looking motor mounts.

yes. Right here. As he was also there when we discovered this. He is using a 1962 ambassador for the V8 stuff to convert this classic to a V8. The engine & transmission..is out of a 1961 ambassador. Everything else is coming out of a 62 ambassador. The classic was a 196 auto.
