Does anyone know about the gasser style Rambler Rogue type car out of Washington state? NOTANOVA plate, Black. I’m guessing maybe the owner is here in this group? It’s for sale and my friend has an itch for it. It’s been a race car most of its life. Big inch AMC with Indy heads. I’m curious about it’s potential. Yes, that is a nebulous curiosity. I’m starting here. Thoughts?

I understand it’s an 1/8 mile car. Friend wants to run 1/4. I’m imagining the air under that car at 140. He likes the gasser era however. I’m not a drag racer, except for the few passes I made in my 401 wagoneer in the high school drags,  many many moons ago. On that note, my shop teacher ate his words about the Jeep.
I am a gear head however, so persuading me to help with the car, particularly an AMC, would be easy.

Help?

We have thoughts of adding a third pedal and I’m thinking of a modern drag race dog box, in place of the 727.

Thoughts of class to run in? Then I’ll look into chassis certs and requirements.

Oy.

It was on Craig's list have not seen it in awhile. I thought it was priced to sell too. Same owner also had a 66 Rogue 401 5 speed car that was way cool. Good luck with your hunt....Jim

it’s a cool car. I guess. But in terms of its effectiveness as a drag car, it’s class, it’s chassis, it’s engine build, thought I might catch some insight, or even some bench racing or trash talking.
