Darn. And I just bought a set of door panels just to get a so-so set of emblems.

I'm in for at least 1 set, maybe 2 depending on price.

I'm definitely in for one, maybe two sets of the door panel emblems.  I have been looking for nearly two years and all I can find are panels where the emblems USED to be.  As to the weather shields, we'll have to see how they end up.

Kevin... Thanks for posting this up.

I, like many other S/C Rambler and Rogue owners, was wondering how to solve the dilemma of great looking door panels with a so so looking 48 year old used part, to trim them out!

Really looking forward to the Rogue door panel inserts release. I'm going to adopt my typical strategy of buying more than what I need. It seems that many of the vendors/suppliers, get parts made in batches, and then sell out. Once those batches sellout, it's sometimes months or years before they become available again (if ever).

I'm going to be on these like a pitbull on a pork chop.

Good deal on the weather sheilds too. I'm in for those as well.

Please update here as you know more.

Rick:

As I understand it, there is still work going on to perfect the chrome/black finish.

There is still hope that it will make a summer event in prototype form at least.  I don't think the wait will be too much longer, but we definitely want them to be as great as they can be with the necessary time invested to get it right!

Those who made the AMO Nashonals this past weekend, got to preview pre-production prototypes at Kevin Shopes awesome vending booth.

I saw them and thought they were looking good. Sounds like vendor is still tweaking the final product.

Here's a few pictures of his display booth and the new product I took while touring his tables. Sorry for the pic quality. Best I could do with phone.

They're looking good !

Walt,

The "Rogue" door panel insets have not made it into production yet. The prototypes (shown) are being perfected. Notification will go out here, once they are available. Kevin and I will try to get an update as to when they will be ready.

Somehow, the original post got hosed up and I will try to fix it later.

UPDATE:

I have been told by the manufacturer and seller of the door panel emblems that they should be ready to take orders by December. When the time comes I will post the information of where to make contact and purchase them. No other details given at this time.

Looking forward to getting my set for the 69 SC JOURNEY. Never found those NOS!!!

I am sorry, I don't have an update.

I am as anxious about this as you - as I need these no later than October myself.

I have tried to get an ETA for finish of the project, and haven't been able to get it yet.

All that I know is that there were problems with the quality of plating by a subvendor and that they wouldn't be released until the project owner was satisfied that there wouldn't be any issues for everyone.

Bob and to the many following this:

I received notice a little over a week ago, that progress has been made in what had become the stumbling block here, the plating. The vendor is now testing another small batch. Their efforts are aimed at providing the nicest, most correct piece possible, with an eye on overall finish longevity.

Thank you for your patience...

The much anticipated Rogue and S/C Rambler "Rogue" door panel insets are now listed on AMARK's website for sale.

Was cruising their site and saw that it and along with 9 other newer items are listed.

The first production batch of the "Rogue" door panel inserts, sold out very quickly disappointing many.

AMARK is making more now. We're told the second batch will be ready for release near the end of next month (April).

We will do our best to get out in front of it and notify people here prior to the re-release.

Hats off to AMARK for another great part to help out the AMC hobby.
