Any ideas on the price range for RHD Javelins which are reasonable regular drivers, but not showcars?

Stuff like RedBook and whatnot seems to have them at a maximum of AU$7500 ..

Its hard to say because unlike chargers, monaros, mustangs etc Javelins just don't come onto the market very often. I haven't seen a roadworthy rego'd car sell for less than $22k for some years now.

red book put my hornet's value at $5500, but the Shannon's inspector inured it for $14000.... seems red book might always be very conservative on uncommon cars

I've dealt with many Javelins in the past few years, finding them, help restorations and parts. The last two were 69 Javs both with 343 and both in red. One went to WA for 25k while the other for 27k in Taree NSW. It will be hard to find one under 20k as a driver. I remember finding a 100% complete 69 in the Blue Mountains but had plenty of rust. My brother in law bought it for $3500. This was about 7 years ago and I have not seen a cheaper one since. This car is yet to be restored.

Hmm .. Seems a big range .. It's a bit difficult because they don't come up often and you don't have enough history to average out prices.

Quick sale mate. What AMC is in mind unless you have another Javelin. Where did that Javelin ended up.

So .. got the cash and car gone?  Much interest in it on EBay?

I've been tossing around the idea of selling my '69 as I'm hanging out for a full-sized American car again (and my '70 Plymouth Fury 'vert is still a long way from finished).  But I'm hesitant enough to only bother if I think it would be an easy sale :)
