   "Stu" Jackson, of Oceanside, passed today after a prolonged illness.

Those of us living in Socal have known him for several years and he was a part of the Socalamx circle.  He owned a brown '69 AMX with a Penske racing engine.

He was a personable fellow, sometimes gruff and blunt, but always welcoming and attended many car shows in Socal.

Below is a pic taken in September 2010 at Socalamc's show--The Driving Museum, in El Segundo, CA.  Stu's brown AMX is behind the group and he's the only one not wearing shorts.

I can hear his voice now, saying....damn it, just go to the car show and have fun!!!!
