When I purchased my 68 AMX back in 1980' and I didn't have plans to begin it's restoration right away, I disassembled the interior and carefully stored it. Now 39 years later I am just completing the restoration. Unfortunately back then there were no digital cameras so I did not document how each item was installed. Now that I am ready to reinstall the interior I have come across a part that I can't ID nor do I know where it gets installed. I have included some photos . I have two 2 of these parts and they both have a part #3483240 molded into them. I had packed both of them along with the kick/ vent panels so I believe they go some where in the kick panel or under dash area. Can any one help?

Thanks Joe

the vent slider glide that goes behind the kick panel?  Similar to what is in my '64.

Look for two holes in the sheet metal where the kick panels / vents go.
