Is there a differance between LHD and RHD exhaust manifolds? Are there differances between years and/or models?
My query relates to the "L Shape " exhaust port manifolds on the 360 in particular.

Yes, left is left and right is right. Early manifolds were a 'log' style, later were more free flowing (sloper type I call them). Even then some variations on those too. Provided they are dog leg ports, they are interchangeable, but the exhaust pipework will need to be changed if you go from early to late. Someone will have pics.

Thanks Dave,
I belive i have the "sloper "type
I have replaced the 290 with a later model 360 in my 68 Rebel.
I am experiancing clearance issues between the exhaust manifold and steering shaft.
Does anyone know of a exhaust manifold version {log type}to suit the 360 with dog leg ports which  "hugs" the block, what model/year and where do i get one?
Cheers

1970 and early 1971 360's in Rebels had the log manifolds. This will be your best chance. I think 1970 390's had them too, but chances of that are ???? You can keep the sloper on the other side.
This what AMC did from the factory to put a V8 in the Gremlin/Hornet due to being very tight on one side.
Where do you get one ? Ask here under the buy/swap/sell link or email Ramblerspares on this forum, see if he's got one.
