If anyone goes to Canfield today and braves the probable mud can you throw a hint as to how many vendors showed?

I expect some will show during the day today due to the rains moving out today.

Like to run up tomorrow unless it's an empty field Wink

My boy canceled on me for today and I decided to save the vacation day and just run up tomorrow if it is worth the trip.

Weambler, Sat is the best day to go. Some vendors just come and set up that one day.

Its supposed to be a beautiful day Saturday & Sunday, so I expect the place to be packed, including the race track. I've seen the spring event packed even in the rain. I'll be there bright & early, looking to fill my wagon with treasures.

Canfield is always worth the trip. For me anyways!

Definitely packed today. Feet are tired and ran out of time. Still had a good time even though I kept my money in my wallet!

Nothing AMC related except one Eagle wagon in the car corral. I went Saturday.Day was great weather, but vendors selling used and nos parts were nowhere to be found. Even Chevy venders were few and far between. All the oldtime car parts are drying up. A lot of pickup repro parts however.

Some friends and I went to Canfield yesterday. It was huge and the weather was great. However I found very little of interest. Way too many 2000 and newer parts, sets of used up tires, flea market crap, etc. And now it's $7.00 to get in. I did see a few AMC items but most were overpriced, like $20 for a '70s chemical can, and the $300 Rebel Machine armrest that is there every year. I did see a very solid Machine fender for only $150 which seemed fair. The only thing I bought was a nice yellow label Super Coil for $10.

Definitely a full house at Canfield! I started at 7 am, & was worn out & quit at 4:45. The vendors that weren't open at 7:30 were packing up at 4 when I went back to see what they had. So, I didn't see everything, but I did see most. Never made it to the car corral.

Sure would be nice if they would group all the vendors selling new stuff, & the non auto junk together. Then you wouldn't have to waste time walking past that stuff.

I did good on AMC parts. Nice sport wheel for $8, good 71-74 side marker set for $10, some Mail Jeep manuals, Offy intake for the 6 cylinder, really nice Javelin etched sill plates for cheap, Carter AFB Strip kits for tuning, new short V8 water pump for $10. Plus some Jeep stuff.

I filled the car with brand X parts too. Prices were mostly reasonable, only some vendors of 73-79 Ford truck parts were crazy expensive. And the guy selling that Machine armrest Scott mentioned....
