with the engine on a stand, my left pinkie is precisely the correct tool to extract the relief plunger. tool # J-1234567890. you can rent it from me for $100 including shipping (first class). lol. (for you! big discount!) it's a thimble-like cup (if you recall) so fingertip suction worked for me. could probably use a bolt or a tap to catch it with the threads.... |

It's fixed. Oil pressure was 52 psi at fast idle with cold oil today. I'm using 10w40 oil because of the suspected mileage on the engine. Joe
